Aviation English Classes with AClass Academy of English in Malta

AClass Academy of English in Malta has designed an Aviation English Course to suit pilots and air-traffic controllers who need to achieve ICAO level 4 of English. We use a combination of course materials from leading publishers and our own materials.

Our specialised Aviation English teacher has been teaching for over 10 years and also holds a private pilots license so he is familiar with all the terminology and what you need to improve your speaking and listening

Study Medical English in Malta with AClass Academy of English

Medical English is a highly specialised course for doctors, nurses and people in the medical profession who need to improve their English skills to be able tocommunicate with other doctors and patients in English.

We tailor make our courses to suit the needs of the student or students. Medical English classes are usually very small and have between 2 and four students per group. Often we have one Medical English student and we offer them private one to one lessons.

Last week I had a lovely Neurosurgeon from Brindisi in Italy. She told me that " I learn more in this one week in AClass that all year in English lessons in Italy". It was great to hear that we are our English students are so happy with the English lessons we give in Malta.

As a small school, studnets studying at AClass become like family members and it we are really sad to see them go.

Still, they can keep in touch via our Facebook Group or e-mail.

My Claim To Fame

Well I was not as lucky as Alison but I have been in a rather cool video by the band Esteban called Viva La Noia. This was shot last summer by a talented friend of mine who forms part of the Beangrowers a band you should really have a listen. I love Genzora from their first album 48K.

AClass Teacher Meets Jaime Luis Gómez or Taboo from the Black-Eyed Peas

Well, its official AClass English teachers ROCK!!!! In every sense of the word. Alison, one of our very ownEnglishlanguage teacher's was getting into a nightclub lift when who should walk in but Taboo. Apparently he was a total gentleman and when our star-struck teacher asked if he would posing for a picture, he did so gladly. He even wave goodbye as he stepped out of the elevator.

Learning English in Malta has never been so exciting. Some people have all the luck. Please please please, can I get stuck in a lift with Jude Law?

English Language Students at Full Moon Party

Some of AClass' students joined Pierre and myself at Riviera for the full moon party which is an informal gathering once a month when the moon is full. We picked them up from school and all drove down to the beach together singing songs along the way.

Once we got there we bought some water and ice-creams from the bar and made our way along the beach. We watched the sun set as people started to set up their instruments and bbq's. There was plenty to see as some local fire dancers gave an impromptu show. At one point some lanterns were lit and they floated up into the sky before disappearing into the night.

Pierre and his gang entertained us with tribal beats on their jembes, didgeridoos, harmonicas and guitars and lots of people danced to the music.

At midnight we left the crowds and made our way back to the car where I dropped off each student and made sure they got home safely. Everyone had a whale of a time with Mehmet, one of our Turkish students declaring that it was " the best night of my life".

This makes our hard work here at AClass worthwhile.

Farewell to our Russian Teens

The past few weeks have been full of laughter, English lessons and fun. We had a group come down from St Petersburg with their teacher. Today was their last day and after we handed out their certificates, Pierre and Juanita organised a little farewell party involving pastizzi, a local snack made of peas or ricotta cheese, and soft drinks like our very own homegrown Kinnie. Pierre took the group out and helped entertain the group so he is sure to miss them once they go. I will be adding some of the photos very soon so keep an eye on our website for any new pictures.
