Christmas Feast at AClass Academy of English

It’s the last week before the school closes for the holidays and what better way to
draw a successful year to a close than by having a Christmas party full of good food
    and Yule-time cheer.

All the remaining students thought this was a grand idea with many of them bringing something
home- baked with them. We had mulled wine and mince pies from   the UK, oranges and
panettone from Italy,  gingerbread cookies from Hungary, a sponge cake from Iran,  mini Salami’s
from Spain and of course, pastizzi from Malta.

After having our fill we sat down in the schools Internet Café and played a number of word games
which brought out the competitive streak in many of us.

Well -done to everyone for making the party a total success.
    See you in 2013.

2010 is a Great Year to Study and Learn English in Malta

I hope that you are all busy and in a great mood, like everyone here at AClass.

January started with a bang. We were asked to develop and teach a tailor-made Business English Program for a pharmaceutical company based in Malta. The lessons were given on-site so we had to drive to and fro on a weekly basis.

The hard works seems to have paid off as we have received very positive comments based on the clients' feedback.

Back at school we have seen a number of new students here at AClass. One of our latest students was a nanophysicist from Geneva. She was so pleased with her English lessons that she plans on continuing them over Skype in the coming months. Bookings are coming in on a daily basis so no doubt we will building on our first summer's success.

AClass Academy of English is THE school to come to in Malta if you want to learn English.

    First FELTOM Malta All-Round Success

Well this weekend saw lots of activity for the Maltese EFL community as agents from around the world descended on the Radisson Blue Resort in St Julian's. The three-day event was organised by FELTOM to celebrate their 20th Birthday and was sponsored by various local businesses and Language Travel Magazine, which has its finger on the global EFL industry's pulse.

AClass were there ( yes, little old me) meeting with quality agents in an informal atmosphere. The mood was upbeat with agencies and schools alike looking towards a positive 2010. We explained to them that we offer all kinds of courses from General English to Business English, Medical English and Aviation English.

The event was well attended and very well-organised thanks to the hard work of all the FELTOm board members. A big thanks goes out to them.
